From spreading awareness through messaging and social media, to donating to crucial organizations, to even shifting their supply chain to make medical supplies, we’re proud to highlight these brands putting the health and wellbeing of their community first.
Below, we’re sharing some of the most impactful positive initiatives we’ve seen. If you are able, we encourage you to get involved and support in any way you can.
Brands donating food to those who need it most
According to a recent consumer survey we ran, over 78% of consumers say food is the main priority on their shopping lists during these times. In an effort to help those who are unable to access the food they need during this time, these brands are donating to organizations spearheading efforts.
Summersalt
Swimwear brand Summersalt is offering 25% sitewide — and, for every order above $125, they’re donating $15 to No Kid Hungry’s COVID-19 efforts to ensure that children are adequately fed during this crisis. You can start shopping (and donating) here.
Chubbies
Shop apparel brand Chubbies’ WFH Collection and give back. For every product in the collection sold, Chubbies will donate $5 to Meals on Wheels to help seniors stay safe and healthy during this time. Get comfortable while you work from home here.
Dolce Vita
Shoe brand Dolce Vita is not only offering 25% off sitewide — they’re also donating $3 for every pair of shoes sold to No Kid Hungry. Shop and donate here.
Lokai
Jewelry brand Lokai is giving back and paying it forward by giving a portion of the proceeds they earn from each purchase of a bracelet to No Kid Hungry. And, Lokai is donating 10% of all net profits to charity. Pay it forward here.
Farmacy
Farm-to-face skincare brand Farmacy has pledged the equivalent of 10,000 meals a day to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund, and they’re matching each donation that shoppers make. Donate here.
Brands giving back to healthcare professionals
As the medical professionals on the front lines help to fight this pandemic, these brands are working hard to support them with whatever they may need by making it easy for shoppers to give back.
Allbirds
The shoe brand is giving back through their Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program, empowering shoppers to not only purchase shoes for themselves, but to then pick out another pair for a member of the healthcare community. Shoppers can also simply donate a pair without buying one for themselves as a way to say thank you. Donate here.

Medical scrubs brand FIGS has committed to donating 30,000 pairs of scrubs to hospitals in need over the next two months.The brand is also developing care packages for the healthcare professionals that need it most, with snacks, coffee, and personal hygiene items. The brand has already sent out over 100 care packages. They’re also offering a 25% discount, and they’re donating $1 to the Frontline Responders Fund for every repost on social using the hashtag #FIGSxDoctorsDay. SimpleHuman
Personal hygiene brand SimpleHuman is offering 25% off sensor soap pumps and soap and sensor trash cans. And, because touch-free soap pumps are essential in the spread of COVID-19, the brand is donating the pumps and soap to organizations providing vital care to their communities. Mack Weldon
As part of apparel brand Mack Weldon’s Get Comfort, Give Comfort campaign, the brand is donating 50% of each purchase in the form of essential clothing to hospitals in the New York area. You can shop and donate here.
Retail brands reprioritizing to support their communities
With their available resources, these brands are pivoting from producing their typical product lines to manufacturing masks for healthcare professionals around the globe. Shoppers can donate to contribute to their efforts.
American Giant
American-made apparel brand American Giant is halting the production of their sweatshirts and product lines to shift to focus on producing HHS-certified medical masks. With a target of 35,000 masks per week, American Giant is committing to supporting front-line medical personnel. Follow along here.
Ministry of Supply
Apparel brand grounded in scientific research, Ministry of Supply has created a 3D Print-Knit face mask, complete with a pocket for a filtration membrane. The masks aren’t for general sale, but you can donate any amount you see fit and 100% of your donations will go toward helping Ministry of Supply produce more masks for the medical professionals who need them most. Love Your Melon
Mission-driven hat brand, Love Your Melon, has committed to creating 50,000 face masks in two weeks to donate directly to children’s hospitals, care facilities, and nonprofit organizations across the country. Get involved or request masks here.
Gymshark
Fitness brand Gymshark is running multiple initiatives to engage their community during this time. In order to keep customers healthy, both mentally and physically, the brand is repurposing their Live Chat into a “Life Chat,” giving those struggling with mental health an opportunity to talk, and they’re reaching out to physical trainers around the world and paying them for a live workout on social platforms.
