One of the most exciting things to happen today is the rise of NFTs, a major part of the Web3 movement that’s exploding with brands like Adidas, Nike, Clinique…and even Shopify which launched a marketplace.

We believe that in the next 15 years a lot of innovation, products, and wealth creation is going to be based on Web3, especially eCommerce. And NFTs have a huge potential for brands looking for innovative ways to build customer loyalty and community.
That’s why I’m so excited to introduce the Fabulous Flamingo Club (FFC for short) — a collection of Flamingo NFTs and a community around them. And we’re launching the community with the most fabulous people I know: Yotpo employees.
At Yotpo, our people are the driving force behind everything we do. We created the FFC because we wanted to give something back to our flock — something that would align with our community and values. We hope through the FFC we can get our people excited, engaged, and educated about the world of NFTs and Web3.
About the Fabulous Flamingo Club
The FFC is a collection of handcrafted Flamingo NFTs — one-of-a-kind digital collectibles made by Yotpo. Each token, built on Etherium blockchain, opens a whole world of exclusive benefits for club members.
The Flamingo NFTs were created in-house by our amazing team of Creative Producer Mor Shani, Creative Director Shiri Shiber Schnur, and Lead Designer Eliko Yaakov Jan. Every Flamingo NFT in this collection was created from 80 different traits like hats, bling, clothes, wings, and more, to become a unique, rare piece of art — each with their own quirky personality.
We are starting with a drop of 40 Flamingo NFTs, and all employees at Yotpo have the chance to get one. Everybody who wants one can apply here — we will pick the employees who’ll get them later this month. From there FFC holders can do what they want — use them as avatars, experience club perks, help grow their value, trade them. We will give out more NFTs over the year, with a goal of creating 1,000 — enough for everyone who has been at Yotpo for more than one year.
Why we chose flamingos
Yotpo hit its “unicorn” valuation last year, but we don’t really like that term. We prefer to call ourselves a flamingo — unlike a unicorn, the flamingo is a real animal defined by its boldness and its flock. And we like to think that through our platform, Yotpo is providing real value to our customers and partners.
As Shiri explains it, “The Yotpo flamingo has been with us for over two years. He’s with us in events, at the office, even in our Zoom backgrounds. We believe the flamingo is a metaphor for dreamers and creators. To us, being part of a flock really means something. It means being part of a community, part of something meaningful.”
We’re growing our flock! We hope our NFTs will attract fabulous candidates to join Yotpo.
What the future holds for the FFC
We think there is so much potential for NFTs to help companies like ours and eCommerce brands to build and engage communities and to inspire brand pride and loyalty.
The FFC is just the beginning — we can see our NFT collection growing into collaborations with our awesome D2C brand customers, like Adidas’ collaboration with the hugely popular NFT community Bored Ape Yacht Club. We are working on IRL swag and other NFT-themed surprises, too. We also plan to use this project to give back, donating 50% of royalties to causes we care about.

You can see the first 40 Flamingo NFTs on OpenSea, but the FFC is more than just digital collectibles. We also have a microsite where you can learn more about the FFC and apply for the chance to get an NFT, plus our own Discord community and Instagram.
