Challenge
While AX Paris was already connecting with their customers using email, this single revenue stream wasn’t driving as much growth as they had hoped. As a channel email was stable and reliable, but they knew there was untapped potential when it came to reaching customers where they spend most of their time: their mobile devices. Results
Since joining Yotpo SMS & Email in August of 2021, AX Paris has seen impressive list growth. Using the platform’s advanced suite of subscriber tools, including top of the line pop-ups, embedded forms, and checkout opt-in, they were able to drive more than 100k SMS subscribers in just their first month.
As part of their welcome strategy, AX Paris reached out to all customers who had signed up with hyper-targeted messaging, while following up with those who had not yet completed a purchase. Making sure to target the right customer with the right message — rather than batching and blasting — has been key to AX Paris’ success with SMS. "We saw really great ROI on our Welcome Flows," says Brown, speaking to the 90x ROI the brand saw from this flow alone.
But subscriber collection is not the only area where AX Paris has seen undeniable success. While email marketing remains a top strategy, they now rely heavily on SMS marketing to engage their audience and keep their revenue climbing. Their creative campaigns keep their customers informed of the latest and greatest deals as well as product launches and restocks, resulting in a significant increase in ROI.
Out of all the campaigns thus far, BFCM is where AX Paris has really seen SMS marketing shine. On top of the 49k subscribers they collected in November, they also leveraged Yotpo SMS & Email's advanced segmentation to achieve a 55x ROI on BFCM campaigns, while maintaining an incredibly low 0.68% unsubscribe rate. These results wouldn’t have been possible without the brand’s thoughtful pre-BCFM subscriber collection and targeted campaigns.
AX Paris can’t imagine their tech stack without Yotpo SMS & Email. By using SMS to communicate with customers in addition to email, the brand has seen a whopping 6.5x increase in ROI.
