“Yotpo is a fundamental part of our recommended tech stack.”
Cupshe was founded in 2014 by Chinese entrepreneur Mike Zhao. The swimwear and apparel brand has been in hyper-growth since its inception, driven by Zhao’s vision of being a leading player in the women’s fast-fashion industry.
Cupshe’s goal is to inspire “confidence and beauty through redefined and affordable fashion.” They sell trendy designs at factory prices, offering young women fashion for the right price. Their success is largely due to their heavy emphasis on branding. They believe in building the Cupshe experience into every interaction a customer has with their brand.
As Cupshe prepared to expand their international presence and enter the US market, they needed to customize their site to match the American shopping experience, while still retaining their brand identity throughout the buyer journey. Cupshe also needed to create relevant content for English-speaking consumers that would help them build trust and communicate with a new audience.
So, they hired digital marketing agency BVAccel to develop a website that would enable them to build a strong brand presence in the US.
BVAccel upgraded Cupshe to Shopify Plus so they could take ownership of their brand and easily customize the entire user experience, from product discovery to checkout. Next, BVAccel implemented Yotpo to improve Cupshe’s conversion rates and help them generate tons of English content in the form of authentic customer reviews.
“Working with Yotpo is a dream. We know that when we introduce our merchants to Yotpo, they are well taken care of. The Yotpo team serves as an extension of our own.” Nikki Johnson Strategic Partnerships Manager, BVAccel
