Beginning as an idea shared between friends in a coffee shop, the company has shifted and evolved over decades to become a brand that designers and retailers worldwide look to for solutions to introduce new trends in growing markets.
In 2016, Delta Galil acquired Splendid, a global clothing line, and 7 For All Mankind, a global denim brand famous for their fit, fabric, and quality. Delta Galil knew that it would be important for the eCommerce presence of both brands to reflect their excellence and innovation, so they turned to eCommerce agency Corra in 2017 to guide the process. After the two launched eCommerce sites for both brands, they have continued to partner by continuously testing new experiences and enhancements that optimize conversion rates and beyond.
At the time of Delta Galil’s acquisition of Splendid and 7 For All Mankind, both brands needed a complete overhaul of their site UX, including mobile-responsive design, GDPR compliance, and a renewed focus on digital channels. This included a full migration to Magento 2 and integrating a tech stack that would help to lift key metrics across the board.
Along with visible changes to the site, there were also backend solutions necessary to improve Delta Galil’s operational workflow between brands and maximize creative and development efforts. All of these opportunities for improvement created a space for Corra to create a shopping experience that inspires customers and guides them through a seamless purchase journey.
Corra’s approach to injecting digital strategy every step of the way — with a focus on improving conversion at each point of the purchase journey — consisted of three parts. First, migrate and launch Delta Galil on a new platform with a unified backend. Next, take the launch international and improve 7 For All Mankind to support six languages, three currencies, and a return strategy altered for each market. And last, continuously test new experiences and implement enhancements to optimize their site; this last phase included the addition of Yotpo to infuse social proof along every step of the purchase journey, instilling confidence in buyers and helping to lift conversion rates consistently year-over-year.
To ensure that 7 For All Mankind and Splendid’s brand voice and aesthetic stayed at the forefront, Yotpo worked with Delta Galil to customize the look and feel of the reviews widget, as well as the overall functionality. The solution prioritized custom review questions that match their respective product category, and it created a more seamless experience than the previous reviews solution. For 7 For All Mankind, fit is a huge factor for shoppers, and fit-related review filters complement a Fit Guide that Corra created for the brand.
With responsive mobile design, a unified backend, and on-brand touchpoints onsite, the 7 For All Mankind site has seen a 49% year over year increase in revenue. Thanks to the work Corra has done to create a smooth data flow between the platform and the ERP, both brands’ merchandising teams can access valuable metrics such as inventory levels, strikethrough sales prices, product tiles, and the availability to see product availability by SKU.
Since partnering with Yotpo, both brands have been able to carry their stories through to social proof. Of the visitors who come to the site, 41% interact with Yotpo widgets, encouraging engagement and increasing conversions.
By intelligently leveraging technology with design, Corra created an environment for Delta Galil to grow their D2C presence and thrive and adapt in an industry that’s quickly changing and constantly evolving.
