Handy product. I needed something to actually recede a patch panel and a switch in a rolling cabinet so the patch cords would not keep the door from closing. I don't know that the product was designed to be used in such a manner but it worked our well enough that I ordered a 2U version to do the same with an audio device. Fantastic for those deep switches that don't come with adjustable ears or brackets. Only wish they came with an assortment of screws.
